Shameless plugs aside, now lets get into what I LIKED or DISLIKED from the 11/2/22 episode of AEW Dynamite from the Chesapeake Arena in Baltimore, Maryland!

DISLIKED: 25 YEARS LATER, TONY SCHIAVONE STILL DOESN’T KNOW WHAT STING LOOKS LIKE

Dynamite opens with Jay Lethal v. Darby Allin. The first match they had Allin won because Lethal got distracted from his own friends because he didn’t want them to interfere. He shook hands with Allin after. Then a few weeks later, Lethal attacked Allin because…??? This match was…fine? Lethal wins after “Sting” attacks Allin. Schiavone is all like “OMG why is Sting attacking Allin” when “Sting” was in a mask and looked absolutely NOTHING like Sting. 25 years later, Tony Schiavone’s biggest weakest is still getting fooled by guys who dress up as Sting.  The guy takes off Sting’s face to a “big” of…KOLE CARTER? The crowd went DEAD SILENCE. Not because of shock but because of “WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?” Sting’s music hit and then JEFF FUCKING JARRETT comes behind Allin and KNOCKS THE FUCK OUT OF HIM WITH A GUITAR. Jarrett says that his family got into the business in 1946, he’s a 12 time World Champion, and AEW will be full of body bags when he is done. COOL. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of Jeff Jarrett. He’s in great shape and can still go in the ring. I’m just not that interested in what is going on right now. It’s only the beginning so I probably shouldn’t be so sanicle.

DISLIKED: WORLD CHAMP IN DEAD SPOT

Jon Moxley faces Lee Moriarty. Moxley gives him WAY too much offense in a match that should be ended in 3 minutes instead of 10. The match was also SUPER BORING. It didn’t help that LaMar Jackson showed up during this match and the crowd couldn’t care less about this match. At least after the match Ethan Page attacks Mox. Ethan Page is uber talented and he needs to shine more.

DISLIKED: WHAT A WOMEN’S REVOLUTION

Saraya sits down with Renee for an interview that Britt Baker was suppose to be apart of. Renee asks Saraya if she’s medically cleared to wrestle. She says that she has to “consult a another doctor” next week to find. Oh, I wonder who that “doctor” could be? I hope she isn’t going to consult a dentist for a neck issue? Britt Baker does an interview with Schiavone (still confessed on the whole Sting thing) and says that she wants to team with Jamie Hayter on Rampage. COOL.

Jade Cargill defends the TBS Championship against Marina Shafir in a match was went TWO MINUTES. The whole time, Nyla Rose was talking on the mic about how she has Jade’s championship. I bitched and complained about how they needed to put Jade on Dynamite and when they do, they do this? UGH.

DISLIKED: WORST BIRTHDAY BASH EVER

Daddy Ass Birthday Bash was NOT GOOD AT ALL. These segments are going WAY TOO LONG for the content that they have. It FINALLY ends with Billy Gunn’s real sons show up and are pissed that they didn’t get invited to their dad’s birthday party. Morrissey attacks the Acclaimed from behind which brings out FTR. Again, why are FTR only making glorified cameos? UGH

DISLIKED: THE CROWD DIDN’T GO BOOM BOOM

Colt Cabana accepts the open challenge from Chris Jericho and they crowd couldn’t have cared less which is such a shame. Cabana is talented and is a great member of the roster. But this match was also not good. It was really really sloppy. Jericho gets the predictable win. Jericho goes to attack Ian Riccaboni but Blackpool Combat Club come out to make to save. That should lead to a trios match.

LIKED: DREAM MATCH

The triple threat match for the All-Atlantic Title between Orange Cassidy, Luchasaurus, and Rey Fenix was good but could have been better. Jungle Boy takes out Luchasaurus. PAC wanted Fenix to use the hammer on Cassidy. Cassidy gets the win. PAC attacks Cassidy after the match and that brings out Katsuyori Shibata!!!! Shibata challenges Cassidy to a match on Rampage. SLEAZY YOU BETTER GO!!

LIKED: TWO VIGNETTES

They aired two vignettes this week that I liked. The first one was of the Elite getting “deleted” out of AEW. They also showed a House of Black vignette. I’ll be glad to see both groups back.

DISLIKED: WARJOE V THE WORLD

The ROH TV Title match between Samoa Joe v Brian Cage wasn’t doing it for me. I honestly don’t know why. I felt bored during this. Joe wins because of course he does. The Embassy attacks Joe which brings out Wardlow to make the save. I don’t know why he wouldn’t be down there with Joe to begin with. I guess that would make too much sense.
